“What the world *really* needs is another dad band” – no one, ever
Ah, but what if it weren’t just another dad band, but a band of very specific dads, who made a deal with the devil? And not the traditional deal, swapping souls for stardom; no, these dads gave the devil their butts (seriously; how do these guys get their dad jeans to stay on their dad bods without butts?). And in exchange, they received these songs. Melodic bar band rock songs with a soupçon of shoegaze folded in to keep things interesting. Songs devil-sent for the sole purpose of bringing people out to hear ‘em again and again, moving to the diabolical beat, lubricated by round after round of demon rum (or whatever’s on special at the bar).
Such a band is boyreporter. Do the devil’s bidding and listen to the songs, and you’ll know. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist. But the second greatest trick the devil ever pulled … is boyreporter.
The boyreporter experience: songs about life, love, and a few mistakes made along the way, big psychedelic guitars, crazy-groovy jams. All delivered with the raucous punch of a great bar band.
